We stopped, while driving to the Ausantawae Club, occasionally to see the Bryants. I recall a game of croquet there. They lived in a very nice, large house, with well-kelp grounds and were very hospitable.

Before leaving for California in 1906, we called on Mrs. Linsley at Northford. Their home was, I should expect, the largest and most modern there. We visited in the library, a charming room, where books appeared to almost entirely cover the walls from floor to ceiling. It must have been a very fine collection.
